業務内容/Role Details
If you join the Admissions Team, you will work closely with others to ensure a seamless and enjoyable admissions experience for candidates worldwide. Precise, efficient, and friendly communication is essential in providing exceptional, customer-focused service.
Team members must demonstrate a strong sense of cross-cultural awareness and understanding to effectively build meaningful relationships with our applicants and students within the diverse work environment at our institution.
In addition to managing the admissions and enrollment process, you will play a key role in fostering a fulfilling learning environment and experience for students once they join the university by supporting the academic operations team.
Primary Responsibilities (Examples):
Admissions Round Operations:
- Refining and streamlining the screening process (document screening, interviews, notification of results, etc.) for the 4-5 admissions rounds held annually. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of the Admissions Committee that determines the final results.
- Supporting applicants and the sales team to ensure a seamless screening process.
Planning and Implementation:
- Promoting applicant selection processes utilizing IT software and AI
- Planning and managing the annual admissions process

- At the Admissions Office (One of the functions of the Student Services Office) Communication and Logical Thinking Skills:
- Native or business-level Japanese proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N1 or higher) and native or business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 900 or higher).
- A friendly, empathetic mindset is needed to build close professional relationships with students, alumni, and co-workers.
- Ability to absorb knowledge quickly, along with exceptional logical thinking skills to analyze/evaluate MBA applications, is needed to make precise proposals to admission committee members.
- Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in all areas of communication and output.
Independent, Autonomous, and Proactive:
- Confidence to take strategic actions on their initiative to achieve team goals and develop new initiatives/process improvements.
- Time and project management skills to maximize team capabilities and output.
- Sense of wonder and willingness to challenge oneself to develop new skills.
Passion, Flexibility, and Dedication:
- Dynamic collaboration with diverse members among several teams/departments.
- Able to work on weekday evenings and some weekends to support class operations and participate in social events for the university (flexible shifts are available).
- Going the “extra mile” for all stakeholders and team members.
- At the Student Services Office (Entire team)
- A deep sense of awareness, passion, and drive to support others.
- Team members should contemplate deeply rather than focus on the superficial surface of things.
- Openness and willingness to develop strong connections and bonds with all stakeholders (students, alumni, colleagues) are paramount.
- Other
- 3+ of practical experience in a company.
- Align with our business and values.
- The following tests will be accepted as a substitute for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
