Job/Group Overview：
IT Service Department is responsible for IT budgets, IT operations, project oversight, and technology governance for Wealth Management Division of us and other areas.
While it plays a broad role in general IT governance, the Architecture Division specifically focuses on advancing system standardization and managing architecture.
Up until now, we have utilized optimal platforms, technology stacks, and development methodologies within each department according to the characteristics of their respective businesses.
However, recently, the importance of rapidly deploying business solutions has increased, driven by the advantages of modern technologies such as cloud-native solutions and the expansion of the API economy. To achieve this, it has become crucial for IT to provide services flexibly, without being constrained by specific departments.
We have initiated activities aimed at creating a generic platform and an in-house operational model across the group, with the goal of flexibly delivering high-quality applications. Architecture Division of IT Service Department supports and promotes the adaptation of this platform and operational model to each application from the architectural perspective.

Responsibilities：
The Team is responsible for addressing common challenges related to applications and infrastructure during the migration to the standardized platform. Their activities include creating and disseminating guidance for addressing these challenges, proposing and supporting efforts aimed at standardization, and developing standard features. Additionally, we increase the team capacity by welcoming new members within the Architecture section. The team will consist of mid-career hires and IT consultants.
To engage in the following activities as an IT System Architect in the Application Standardization Support Team:
- Organizing common challenges across multiple applications, formulating standard and migration approaches, as well as proposing, designing, and building standard features.
- Providing information on standard environments, SDLC, and various tools, as well as offering guidelines and responding to inquiries from development teams.
- Verifying various technologies in the standard environment, organizing know-how for environment setup, and developing sample programs.
- Collaborating with Wealth Management IT and IT infrastructure in both Japanese and English (translation tools may be used).
- Administrative paperwork related to project advancement, etc.

＜Mandatory＞
- Understanding of all phases of application development, including both waterfall model and agile model.
- Several years of application development experience as a technical professional, including skills in programming, Linux, databases, and basic networking.
- Experience in designing business applications, with an understanding of availability, redundancy design, and security measures.
- Practical experience in an agile development environment and an understanding of DevOps.
- Broad collaboration with stakeholders within the IT department, including organizing challenges, preparing documentation, making proposals, conducting briefings, and handling Q&A sessions.
- Communication in English using translation tools.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese, with JLPT N2 or higher.

＜Preferred＞
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Practical experience in all phases of system development, with experience as a sub-team lead or higher.
- Knowledge and experience related to system architecture.
- Proficiency in English at a level that enables communication with global IT members.
- Understanding cloud environments, with practical experience in system development or possession of cloud-related certifications.
- Experience in system design and development within the financial industry.
