●Job responsibilities ・ Project scope definition (clarification) with the customer and relevant stakeholders (called the team later) from RFQ or the product requirement confirmation phase. ・ Project plan development including the required task and resource assignment and timely update to let the team be informed and do their responsibility clearly and timely. ・ Risk management (project risk definition and analysis) and develop the response plan to minimize the project risk and loss. ・ Proper communication with the customer and the team to achieve the project scope. ・ Scope change management to align with the customer and the team ・ Issue management with the customer and the team to lead the team to fix the solution. ・ To be the first contact window for the project and technical issues or inquiries from the customer during the development phase and lead ・ Participate the engineering/pilot run at the customer site or EMS side. Initiate the discussion within the team to lead the team to solve any engineering or quality issue occurring at the trial run. ・ Conduct internal design review (DR) for all phase (DR3/4 and DR5) (depending on the assigned project) until starting the mass production while tracking required product verification tests and required document preparations etc. ・ Manage development expense and cost of designed product to meet the original cost target of the project or product. ・ To manage customer’s demands during the development phase and support ・ To define the required resources based on the work volume of each respective projects ・ To conduct lesson learned sessions for assigned projects and share the technical knowledge and know-how from the past project experience. ・ To support above purpose, the business travel to the customers and vendors in Japan and outside Japan are asked. ・ Depending on the assigned project, extra activities to achieve the project as project manager will be asked.
