●Position Summary We are seeking an experienced results oriented relationship manager with high energy levels to join our Transactions Sales team to cover accounts in Japan. Successful candidates will possess good oral and written communication skills (English and Japanese). They will be working closely with our client’s eFX trading & sales desks as well as liaising with our account managers, and client success teams. Candidates must have strong FX market knowledge, good interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and able to deal with high stress situations in a dynamic environment. The candidate will have experience in promoting established eFX trading services to the Foreign Exchange Financial community. They will be a proven self-starter, be able to manage user relationships, provide a high level of customer service and have a good level of technical product knowledge.
●Role Responsibilities ・Responsible for managing relationships with & training the customer’s eFX trading & sales functions our trading venues and ensuring customer adoption & satisfaction ・Proactively manage day to day schedule ensuring that all customers within the RM’s territory are met regularly ・Identify additional opportunities for increasing usage, volume and revenue from existing customer base ・Achieve defined volume growth targets ・Work with colleagues globally to achieve a cohesive and consistent client experience ・Work closely with the Client Success & Account Management teams ・Identify new product or functionality enhancements to address the client’s/bank’s needs

Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams. ・Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for internal requests/problem escalation and resolution ・Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RM)s Helps clients to access the bank’s global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe ・Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed ・Coordinates credit requests and approvals from the bank’s global network ・Engages with product partners and the bank’s global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients ・Ensures periodic support discussions are held with clients and are correctly documented ・Maintaines correct client legal and marketing hierarchies ・Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current: FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs and other credit-related documents ・Partners with Credit Admin team to monitor usage of credit lines, and partnering with Independent Risk during client Annual Reviews ・Assists in implementation of cash transactions for Banker ・Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
●Role Purpose This position is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. By collaborating with internal partners, the Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution. The position will lead Japanese GSA and KSA accounts and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales.

●Emerging & Growth Model ・Handle an assigned Growth accounts book on a proactive basis ・Account Managers may also lead a pooled book of accounts on a reactive basis ・All Account Managers in Emerging and Growth segments are in charge of revenue retention (primarily), sales, and administration of their accounts
