This will be a bilingual role. The selected candidate will lead the public cloud adoption strategies for the Cloud Operations group in Japan handling infrastructure across the Group companies. This will involve close collaboration with IT Business management teams within Japan to drive standardization, understand infrastructure requirements for various businesses, translate requirementst to platform engineering groups for infrastructure design and assist with implementation. This position will locally lead the overall public cloud support and cloud provisioning.The role will be serving as a subject matter expert to the user community, across Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (Iaas/PaaS/IaC).

This is an operations role, so there is an expectation of out of hours on call leadership and oversight on queue management. Handling of large-scale incidents, problem management, KPI/KRI/Service reporting, driving Devops/SRE culture within the team are part of lead deliverables.

Responsibilities：
Provide leadership to a team of infrastructure engineers with local and international experience and background.
Drive modernization of the application development community by implementing automation and SRE practices to reduce friction and improve reliability.
Manage stakeholder engagement by providing cloud SME capabilities for the user community.
Champion established best practices for the use of cloud across a wide range of use cases and consumption models.
Effectively develop and maintain robust Infrastructure and Code and other automation artifacts for infrastructure deployment, common tasks and to help resolve technical problems.
Act with a sense of urgency when issues arise, engaging relevant parties to assist with troubleshooting and investigating of problems until a resolution is reached.
Work in hybrid environment with applications being hosted internally and on cloud platforms.
Work collaboratively and effectively with peers, management, and leadership teams.

Requirements：
5-9 years of IT Infrastructure experience working on Infra Platforms and Public Cloud (AWS)
Very good understanding and preferably hands-on experience with automation technologies to build, deploy, and integrate infrastructure and applications (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible)
Proficiency in Python & Ansible to drive automation, integration with Cloud Provider APIs
Strong experience of managing cloud platforms & on-premise infrastructure using established IAC technologies (Terraform and Terraform Enterprise) and practices
Experience with code repos (Git), project tracking (Jira) and ITIL Ticketing (ServiceNow) systems, GitOps frameworks.
