【Role and responsibilities】
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related tools.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS, OpenShift, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and rollback processes across development, QA, and production stages.
- Collaborate with application, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues.
- Integrate security, quality, and compliance checks into the CI/CD lifecycle.
- Manage version control, branching strategies, and package management (NPM, VS Code ecosystem).
- Onboard and mentor team members while promoting best practices, with documentation in both Japanese and English.
- Contribute to transformation initiatives such as process maturity, DevOps automation, and application stabilization.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring project delivery without slippages in schedule, cost, or quality.

【Must】
1. 3+ years of experience in DevOps or automation engineering roles.
2. Strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub), container orchestration (OpenShift), and automation scripting.
3. Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture.
4. JLPT N3 or above; ability to read, write, and converse fluently in Japanese with native speakers.

【Nice to have】
1. Experience integrating testing tools (Playwright, Load Runner) into CI/CD pipelines.
2. Security certification(s) or DevSecOps experience.
3. Deployment experience across Java/NodeJS, React/Angular, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms.
4. Hands-on involvement in application transition and stabilization phases.
5. Familiarity with insurance industry requirements (data privacy, uptime, regulatory compliance).
