The opportunityWe are looking for an individual to join the Investment Product team for our Japan Wealth and Asset Management business. This individual will be responsible for supporting ongoing investment product development and management across the domestic and offshore product platforms utilized by our Retail and Institutional businesses.



Responsibilities

Product idea generation and conceptualization in support of Retail and Institutional client channels in Japan

Product launch for PPITs, POITs and offshore vehicles

Oversight and maintenance for our existing Japan onshore product range

Development and presentation of business cases for domestic initiatives

Management and sourcing of seed capital funding for new product launches

Contribution to regional product idea generation, development and launch

Skills & Experience (Must Have):

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Investment product development, product management or fund onboarding.

* Self-starter and highly motivated to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives.

* Strong attention to detail and able to resolve problems independently while using relevant information, sound reasoning and common sense

*Develop working knowledge of investment philosophy, investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk guidelines, policies and legal structures of relevant products



Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):

CMA/CFA

Experience in product management in financial institutions

Knowledge of investments or investment analysis a plus

Comfortable using financial data and processing software
