Mission
Data Scientist in KIT is responsible for leveraging data and artificial intelligence to drive innovation, optimize decision-making, and create intelligent solutions that support business objectives. This role involves designing and implementing data pipelines, building predictive models, and deploying AI systems that are scalable, ethical, and impactful. By collaborating across teams, the specialist ensures that data-driven insights and AI technologies are effectively integrated into products and services.

Job Details
- Design and build data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to identify use cases
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems
- Monitor model performance and retrain as needed for accuracy
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights
- Implement scalable solutions using cloud platforms and big data tools
- Document methodologies, workflows, and model decisions
- Promote ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support audits and contribute to data security and privacy initiatives

Qualifications, Experience, skills, knowledge
[MUST]
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in AI system development, including designing, implementing, and deploying AI-driven solutions to solve real-world business
problems
- Proficiency in Python/Rust
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization
- Experience working with a cloud platform (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Practical experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and Agentic AI systems
- Experience deploying and managing MCP (Model Control Plane) servers or similar AI infrastructure
- Ability to handle both development and maintenance tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Good communication and collaboration skills across teams

[Nice to have]
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure ML pipelines)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Plotly, Dash)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or other big data platforms
- Understanding of AI ethics, fairness, and model interpretability
- Exposure to multi-modal AI (e.g., combining text, image, audio data)
- Experience with API development and integration for AI services
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models

Language Abilities
- Japanese：Native（N1 or equivalent level）
- English：Business Level（TOEIC 800+、IELTS6.5以上）
