Functional Consultant will work with the PLM Technical Lead to define target functional requirements and ensure the same is developed to meet customers objectives.

Break down business requirements into functional requirements and be part of the PLM SDLC.

Convert and build PLM functional requirements based on the business requirements and map it to roadmap that is linked to customer corporate manufacturing strategy and contribute to test cases writing.

Gather and consolidate business requirements, create and update functional documents (designs, specifications, testing, etc.)

Conduction demonstrations to customers, articulate the functional requirement and enable timely sign-off from customer

Build Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business case and roadmap that is linked to customer corporate strategy

Identify key business levers that will drive growth & value through the product lifecycle

Identify key metrics and propose strategy to monitor them to assess business value of PLM

●WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
10 15 years of domain experience in the discrete or process manufacturing industry on developing a digital manufacturing agenda revealing digitally enabled efficiencies through innovative use of new technology, analytics and mobile applications across multiple industries.

(One or more of industries like Automotive /Aerospace/Life Sciences / Heavy Equipment)

The candidate should possess an optimal mix of strategy, process, execution and technology experience that will enable to cover the full project life cycle and enable success at every point of the transformation journey

Industry knowledge of the challenges and the processes in bringing “products” to market and articulation PLM’s value in this process

Knowledge of PLM tools and processes and understanding of software deployment and services delivery strategies (Agile/Waterfall etc.)

Strong analytical and commercial experience, excellent communication (written and verbal in English) and client facing skills
