●Job description
The Strategy & Operations Team are seeking Senior Consultants / Managers / Senior Managers that can support and lead the delivery of complex, international projects that focus on a broad range of topics including (but not limited to):
・Project management and post-merger integration management
・Enterprise functional design and optimization
・Strategy advisory and concept design
・Current state analysis and future state design across process and business architecture layers
・Operating model design and implementation
・Pre-deal synergies analysis / deal value proposition development
・International liaison and communications management / support
・Market scanning and analysis (pipeline development / target identification)

Essentially, we are looking for candidates who want to utilize their global experience in strategy and operational areas and leverage KPMG global cutting-edge solutions and methodologies to assist clients in solving management issues across a wide range of subject areas.

●Roles & responsibilities:
＜Manager & above＞
・Actively contribute to project deliverables these roles are not simply oversight, but the candidate must be willing to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and support client outcomes
・Support Directors / Partners in driving account revenue, proposal development and client outreach
・Proactive, professional and committed attitude noting that we often deliver under pressure at some of the world’s leading organizations
・Manage multiple projects with respect to schedule, resources, budget, deliverables, and scope
・Provide work instructions to Consultants / Senior Consultants, and review quality of their work
・Contribute to sales through client relationship development and identification of on-sell opportunities.

＜Senior Consultant＞
・Structure and analyze client issues (business, operations)
・Identify areas of improvement in relation to strategy and operations
・Act as a communication bridge on international projects / multilingual projects
・Support Engagement Manager to delivery client solutions on time, on budget

●Ideal qualifications
＜Manager & above＞
・5-7+ years of experience as a strategy & operations or IT consultant or aligned relevant experience such as experience in a global organization with a strategy function
・Strong English capability (TOEIC score of 900+)
・Native Japanese or JLPT N2+
・Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in both English and Japanese
・Comfortable with ambiguity and supporting clients to develop solutions where the direction is unclear
・Willing to ‘walk the talk’ and support junior team members with creating deliverables (not just oversight / management activities)
・Experience in one or more of the following areas:
　＞Project management
　＞Business or IT transformation
　＞Operational efficiency
　＞Functional design
　＞Operating model
　＞IT solution design / implementation
　＞IT project management
　＞Global solution delivery
　＞Sector experience in either Financial Services, Life Sciences, Technology, Telecommunication

＜Senior Consultant＞
・3+ years of experience as a strategy & operations or IT consultant or 5+ years of aligned relevant experience such as experience in a global organization with a strategy function
・Native English or strong English capability (TOEIC score of 900+)
・Native Japanese or JLPT N2+
・Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in both English and Japanese
・Comfortable with ambiguity and supporting clients to develop solutions where the direction is unclear
・Proactive, professional and committed attitude noting that we often deliver under pressure at some of the world’s leading organizations
・Experience in one or more of the following areas:
