Financial accounting
Monitoring of daily and monthly GL system (PSGL etc.)
Preparation and storage of daily and monthly data generated from systems
Reconciliation and adjustment of various general ledger accounts
Independently manage the GL reconciliation and substantiation process by
liaising with related departments
Control and maintenance of fixed asset registration
Control and maintenance of accrual/payable account
Control and maintenance of monthly corporate card expense or cash
reimbursement
Control and maintenance of expense related systems (PSAP/Coupa/Python etc.)
Preparation of ad hoc data requested by HO or BU/SU
Management accounting
Preparation of various management reporting (Hyperion), including budgeting
Preparation of ad hoc data requested by HO or BU/SU
Financial reporting (Local & HO)
Responsible for process and submission of local regulatory reporting process
and HO reporting
Perform assessment on the regulatory reporting treatment for current / new
products and business
Tax
Responsible for tax-filing and local file (BEPS) working with an external tax firm
Preparation of necessary tax data or information requests required by external
tax firm Risk & Control
Responsible to run the process to ensure adequate controls are in place
Identify and manage Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs), KRIs, etc.
Management of procedure manuals (SOP’s) relating to all desks under the
Finance functions and conducting process reviews
Preparation of internal audit data
Financial System
Engage in various system enhancement projects; implement and test of
automation solutions

Minimum No. of years
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Degree in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines and a qualified accountant
is a plus
Through working strong knowledge of MS-excel (formula, pivot etc.) and MS
office
Knowledge on banking products, related accounting and regulatory reporting
treatment is a plus
Knowledge of IFRS and JGAAP is a plus
Knowledge of Japan Tax Law is a plus
Bookkeeping test 2nd Grade or equivalent is minimum
