仕事内容
Our company is currently seeking a Relationship Manager to support our multi-boutique growth strategy in the Japan market for both institutional and retail channels. This role is based in Tokyo.

Reporting to the Country Sales Head of Japan, the role will be responsible for marketing and selling our company’s broad array of strategies across the full range of our investment boutiques as well as client services to current and potential clients in Japan.

The role requires sales and relationship management skills as well as in-depth investment and client services knowledge including operation/reporting, alongside existing relationships and partnership experience. The successful applicant will be an building strong relationships externally and internally as part of a tight-knit team.

●Main Responsibilities:
Implement and support our company’s sales strategy and business plan in Japan.
Support our company’s Tokyo team to drive sales of our company’s equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and infrastructure products to institutional clients and intermediaries.
Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, working with client services professionals to ensure best in class client experiences.
Identify and coordinate events and sponsorship opportunities to elevate our company’s brand in Japan.
Work closely with the broader Asia Pacific team to advance the regional business plan as well as coordinate with global CRM/Operations teams to smoothly execute the plan.
Coordinate with Client Portfolio Managers, and Investment team members to fully develop all opportunities in the region and help implement best practices at the firm.
Provide constructive feedback on strategies, market / industry trends and best practices to management, sales and investment management teams.
Engage internally across the organization to partner with the product, marketing and investment resources of the firm to address the needs of our clients.
Build positive relationships across the broader global sales organization, investment communications, operations, legal, compliance and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client lifecycle.

●What are we looking for
Relationship Manager with proven track record in client services with 10-15 years of asset management sales experience, in particular with institutional clients (preferably experience in both institutional and retail channels)
Strong Japanese communication skills for engagement with key partners in Japan as well as high level of English proficiency to facilitate internal stakeholder management and coordination.
Work with team mates to provide client service and sales support.
Maintain strong coverage of local distributors, and cultivate an end-client network upon acquisition of a DIM license.
Strong technical skills with experience marketing both public and private market asset classes in Japan.
Good understanding of Japan regulations regarding sales and marketing.
Independent, entrepreneurial, client-focused mindset with strong drive.
Strong communication and interpretation skill.
Willingness to travel for work.
High personal integrity.
Be a team player with strong multi-tasking ability.
