Our Client Services Group, a division , partners with business development reps, client managers, and other groups to provide our clients and their consultants with high quality reporting that is transparent and is easy to interpret.
The Client Services Group is seeking an Associate, Client Services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with business development reps, client managers and be part of a collaborative global team to serve Japan institutional investors. We are looking for a motivated and bright individual to fulfil a unique opportunity within our dynamic environment.

●Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to prospective investors and current clients invested in our product offering across public private markets.
Serve as the primary steward of client and contact data used by Client Services, maintaining high standards of accuracy and completeness.
Support Client Managers by maintaining CRM contact updates, monitor account guidelines, and coordinate client requests and inquires with stakeholders (e.g. RFP, Reporting, Portfolio Management)
Assist the coverage team in preparing client review and client diligence meetings, including agenda creation, requesting materials, compliance review coordination, presenter participation, and onsite logistics.
Escalate client issues and partner with Client Management and relevant stakeholders on resolution.
Support special project and ad hoc requests from Senior Management, contributing to continuous improvement of client servicing processes.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting and client deliverables are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Think strategically and help develop creative solutions and enhancements to better service our clients and consultants
Develop knowledge of products, and the industry overall
While this role is focused on servicing existing clients, the team may be called on from time to time assist in certain tasks that are to support the sales process should resources be needed.

●Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in client services, investor relations or related function, preferably within the investment management industry.
Strong financial literacy with a working knowledge of traditional and alternative asset classes. Understanding of pooled structures and Single Client Accounts.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and the ability to perform some quantitative data analysis. Experience with Aladdin Green Package is helpful.
Experience working across functional groups and/or communicating with clients or external partners.
Discretion required in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to work independently with excellent multi-tasking capabilities.
Excellent writing and project management skills.
Bilingual: Good communication skills in both English and Japanese languages both in writing and verbal.
Proactive; plenty of initiatives and the ability to operate autonomously; ability to think forward/plan ahead.
Communicates clearly and logically and collaborates effectively across teams and functions.
