Legal Counsel （弁護士)/外資系不動産ファンドグループ会社の求人

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, financing documents, leases, vendor agreements and other contracts governed by Japanese law

Supporting investment and asset management teams on acquisitions, disposals, financing transactions and asset management matters

Advising on legal and commercial risks and developing pragmatic risk mitigation strategies

Providing guidance on Japanese-language legal documents and supporting regional legal colleagues on Japan-related matters

Assisting with corporate governance, internal approvals and regulatory matters

Managing external counsel and coordinating legal support on specialised matters

Working closely with Compliance and other business functions to support corporate and regulatory requirements

●Essential Skills and Experience
Qualified Japanese lawyer (Bengoshi)
Approximately 3-8 years’ post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal role
Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
Experience with corporate, real estate, financing or investment-related transactions preferred
Strong English and Japanese communication skills
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical solutions to complex legal issues
Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

●Desirable
Experience supporting real estate, private equity, infrastructure or alternative investment businesses
Experience working in an international or regional environment
Familiarity with financial services regulatory matters and investment management businesses in Japan
