【Role Summary】:
An experienced, real estate investment specialist to support real estate team in identifying and underwriting new real estate investment opportunities including corporate own use (HQ) properties in Japan.

【Job Descriptions】
●Source real estate investment opportunities in line with our investment strategy from brokers and directly through personal relationships in the industry.
●Coordinate and manage underwriting and due diligence for new investment opportunities, create detailed investment memorandum and PowerPoint presentations (in English and Japanese) to present to the stakeholders.
●Responsible for leading the execution of approved investments through documentation to closing.
●Work closely with the asset managers on post-acquisitions aspects of the property’s life cycle, supporting in the implementation of value-creation techniques to maximize returns

【必須スキル】
●Seasoned real estate acquisitions/investment underwriting experience, including a minimum of 8 years of in-depth experience in underwriting new investment opportunities in Japan.
●Must possess strong analytic skills, including real estate operations, pro-forma, and budget formulation.
●Excellent proficiency in Excel and underwriting models including sensitivity analysis; good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word etc.
●Familiarity with all real estate transactional documents (i.e. SPA), due diligence materials, and regulatory requirements.
●Good communication skills, both verbal and written; comfortably handle both internal and external stake holders.
●Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; a good team player but able to work independently, and take initiative as required.
●Bilingual - native level Japanese and business level English (preference for solid reading and writing skills over fluent verbal skills).

●Real Estate Brokerage License (Takken) holder preferred. Other real estate related professional qualifications (i.e. certified appraiser) are plus.
●In-depth and wide industry network is a strong plus.
●Working experience in a global company is a plus.
●Argus software familiarity is a plus.
