You will be a valued member of the team providing production services support to the Finance division using your technical and business knowledge in this challenging and fast moving space.

●Responsiblities:
This role is within the Japan Production Services team providing support to the Finance division for a wide range of applications designed to facilitate the successful execution of various important financial processes. Function as the regional SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the support of Japan domestic Finance applications used by the Japan Finance department and maintain strong relationship with Stakeholders in Finance, Retail business and IT regionally and globally.

The ideal candidate will have a forward thinking, can-do attitude with the ability to proactively deal with issues and a drive for continual improvement. Also, have a willingness to upskill and learn new technologies is a must.

*This role combines L1 and L2 functions and requires occasional weekend, holiday work and occasional on call night escalations.

●Mandatory
・Experience in a Production Support role
・Strong written and spoken Japanese and English
・Working knowledge of Finance platforms within a Financial Institution
・Naturally take ownership of issues and projects that you are assigned
・Confident with adhering to procedure and show resilience when faced with demanding clients
・The ability to prioritise and be adaptable whilst working under pressure
・Have a problem solving mind set and demonstrate ownership of problem and incidents through to closure
・Have a conscientious attitude to all areas of IT Governance: Audit, Operational Risk etc.
・Ability to accurately collect and publish support KPI metrics as well as management documentation maintenance for the team
・Confident in managing and implementing code/config change/release into prod environments
・Be able to build strong, collaborative relationships with the business, application development teams, Infrastructure and other functional groups globally
・Operating systems knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux)
・Strong scripting skills (e.g. Shell Scripting, Python, Perl)
・Good working knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries

●Preferred / Desirable
・Knowledge and experience in IT automation
・Knowledge and understanding of the Site Reliablility Engineering principles
・Understanding of Agile practices and principles
・AWS Practitioner Certification or similar
・Autosys setup and configuration
・Full understanding of ITIL
・Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar)
・Experience in supporting and administering DevOps tools as part of the deployment pipeline (e.g.Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Elastic, Jira etc)
