We are looking for a candidate having experience on vehicle structure, designing sheet metal parts, chassis/steering

Technical Engineer/Technical Lead : Chassis related parts design and development support.
[Front and Rear suspension, Brake, steering column and Pedals]

●Role descriptions / Expectations for the Role
- Design and development of chassis systems like Front and Rear suspension, Brakes, Steering and Pedals.
- Packaging of ICE and EV components in underbody or vehicle platform.
- Schedule management and meeting project milestones
- Onsite / Offshore coordination
- Driving CFTs and design reviews in

●Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
- 4~6 years of experience in domain knowledge of automotive Chassis system parts
- Understanding of chassis systems and their role in Platform concept, Crash energy management and basic layout and packaging requirements.
- Good understanding of automotive product development cycle.
- Proficiency in using CATIA for data and drawing making.
- Good understanding of Chassis components manufacturing process and an experience in part development
- Must have good understanding of automotive manufacturing process.
- Coordination with Onsite & Offshore for work management.
- Basic understanding of Project schedule, Project milestones, targets and their management.
- English and Japanese speaking proficiency for cross functional communication.

●Nice-to-have skills
- Chassis components design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of vehicle Platform structure and layout.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- Basic knowledge Supplier communication, Part sourcing, Material selection, Cost estimation and inter department communication
- Knowledge of Automotive industry from design to the SOP
