仕事内容
Senior IT operations specialist maintaining the technical infrastructure; a resource on procedures for the area. Develops and documents new procedures and plans for the operations environment.
Key Accountabilities:
・ Provides preventative maintenance on a variety of technologies (e.g., enterprise, network, telecom) for an area of the operations infrastructure.
・ Performs complex troubleshooting, choosing from among a large number of different procedures to find a solution. Triages operational problems that may involve multiple technologies.
・ Maintains and updates existing documentation and standard operating procedures.
・ Tracks and reports on metrics and SLAs to identify and resolve recurring issues.
・ May direct more junior team members in the context of an assignment. Assumes a lead role, as required.
・ Develops plans for the operations environment, considering capacity, physical layout, etc. and makes recommendations to leadership.
・ Performs advanced troubleshooting which may involve significant choices between many different possible procedures to address the problem.
・ Solves most problems independently.
・ Supports the creation of new procedures, recommending them to leadership for adoption. Creates and updates documentation as necessary.
・ Coordinates across the organization to develop and implement plans for the operations environment.
・ Forms productive relationships with internal clients by listening, clarifying and responding effectively to solve problems. Effectively probes users to determine the actual nature or underlying cause of an issue.
・ Forms productive networks with others in the organization and vendors, if required, to expedite recovery from an out of service condition.
・ Can explain procedures effectively to new team members, and coach them through problem resolution.
・ May produce fundamental documentation of standards and procedures, following prescribed guidelines.
・ Operates effectively as part of a larger team and manages own work. May direct more junior team members in the context of a project assignment.
・ Receives general direction/supervision and manages own time effectively. Helps in assigning tasks to ensure work is completed.
・ Executes a well-defined set of procedures independently. May choose an approach or procedure for addressing a task.
・ May provide work direction to junior team members, explaining which approach to use.

QUALIFICATIONS :
4+ years of relevant experience in technology operations. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable.
