Responsibilities:
● Approximately 50/50 split between development and support work
● As a developer, work with the global development team to implement change on the current and future state DMT platform
● ‘Hands on’ coding and develop solutions to meet the goals of the Group Data Office
● Partner with Group Data Office members to understand and meet their application needs
● Work closely with other teams across IT to implement the strategic DMT platform

□Mandatory
● Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Math or Engineering discipline
● A team player with strong English communication skills, verbal and written
● Proven track record delivering technical solutions in a complex global environment
● Experience working with offshore teams
● A minimum of 6 years of total experience
● 4+ years of Java and related technologies development experience
● 1+ years of experience in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6), Typescript and familiarity with concepts like closure, event loop, and the execution context, React, JSX
● 1+ year experience with full stack development using Node JS, Python and Java
● Strong current ‘hands-on’ development experience in core JAVA (v.6 or later) on Unix/Linux and related technologies (JDBC, JMX, JMS, SPRING) including multi-threading
● Hands-on experience in Python
● Must have fluency in writing complex SQL (on SQL Server, Oracle or similar databases)
● Experience working with multi-instance, multi-component, multi-threaded systems with high availability production setups across regions
● Must have good understanding and preferably working knowledge on DevOps

□Preferred:
● Experience on Cloud (AWS, Azure)
● Experience with Docker and Microservices
● Experience with NoSQL databases
● Experience with Restful APIs and GraphQL
● Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
● Rapid prototyping experience

□Other comments:
● Japanese language skills beneficial but not required
● Flexibility for regular late/early conference calls with US team is expected
● Desire to drive change through automation, APIs and self-service models
