The team is responsible for translating business needs into HR solutions, steward our culture and support the company
Japan business and the company Real Estate Japan business by designing, implementing and monitoring a variety of human
resources programs to keep our employees engaged and growing for our business growth. The team anticipates
and plan for mid- to long-term human resources needs in partnership with business leaders and People teams locally
and globally.
This role will be responsible for benefit and payroll operations including employee supports and its continuous
improvement closely working with local and global People Team counterparties as well as key stakeholders in the
business. This role will also closely work with Head of Japan People Team for Compensation and Benefit initiatives.
This role may take on additional HR related initiatives and expand the work scope in People Team in the future.
This role will report to a People Business Leader managing benefit and payroll operations.

Your Impact:
Manage benefit and payroll related operation collaborating with other People Team members (local and
global) and other stakeholders.
Monitor the smooth and legitimate operation. Pay close attention to any legislative changes related to
compensation and benefit and/or payroll area and propose and/or make necessary updates to necessary
stakeholders in a timely manner.
Manage necessary data and reporting and keep them organized. Respond to reporting inquires from the
business and audits successfully in a timely manner.
Identify any operational efficiency improvement opportunities and drive further efficiency
Manage occupational safety and health committee closely working with our company doctor and the related
People Business Leader(s). Provide support to the employee and the business key stakeholders where
appropriate.
Handle employee inquiries related to benefits and payroll and provide professional support.
Support senior People Business Leaders in maintaining and enhancing the relationship with a client group
by assisting in the development, implementation and administration of human resources programs and
policies. May consult with client group on resolving less complex HR issues.
May work with senior People Business Leader(s) on resolving significant or mid- to high-risk HR issues.
May lead small to mid-size HR projects. Additional responsibility may include administrative work and HR
reporting.
必要スキル
Required Skills:
Solid hands-on experiences and knowledge in Benefit and Payroll operation (3 years+ preferred) as well as
employee interface and employee relations. Compensation & Benefit and its project experience is a plus.
Keen on HR related legislative and market updates
Good understanding of the general HR operation overall

Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as a good team player and ability to work
independently and manage stakeholders

mindset and leveraging the most updated technology
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in the matrix organization adopting in the changing
environment and managing stakeholders
Ability to identify and solve problems with practical solutions, drive small to mid-size project
Willing to take on new initiatives and expand scope for further contribution
Fluent in Japanese and English for business (oral communication, reading and writing)
Proficiency with HRIS (Workday is a plus), MS applications (Excel (especially), Word, PowerPoint etc.)
High level of integrity and professionalism when handling personal and confidential data
Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR related data
