We are seeking an experienced real estate investment professional to lead the full deal lifecycle across Japan from origination and transaction execution to asset management and disposition within an entrepreneurial, build-up environment.

●Key Responsibilities
・Originate and execute real estate investments across Japan (sourcing, structuring, financing, and closing).
・Work on corporate-driven transactions (CRE carve-outs/spin-offs and other complex situations) in collaboration with the private equity teams (JBO, PS) and portfolio companies.
・Develop and implement value-add business plans (repositioning, redevelopment, active asset management) and oversee asset management and disposition.
・Lead underwriting, financial analysis/modeling, and risk/return assessment; prepare investment memorandums (primarily in Japanese).
・Structure transactions (e.g., joint ventures, fund structures, and financing arrangements).
・Build and manage relationships with corporate sellers, sponsors, lenders, operating partners, and advisors.

●Required Experience
・10 25 years of experience in real estate investing and/or asset management.
・Proven track record in value-add/opportunistic strategies (e.g., repositioning, redevelopment).
・Experience with corporate-driven transactions (CRE carve-outs, spin-offs, complex situations) is preferred.
・Experience in private funds, asset managers, developers, or institutional investment platforms; prior deal-lead responsibility.
・Strong understanding across major asset classes and an established network in the Japanese real estate/corporate/financial markets.

●Key Skills and Competencies
・Relationship-building skills with corporates, intermediaries, lenders, and other market participants.
・Strong underwriting capability, financial modeling (Excel), and presentation materials (PowerPoint).
・Deep understanding of deal structuring and financing in complex transactions.
・High execution capability, flexibility, and sense of urgency.
・Japanese required; English preferred but not mandatory.
