●Description
We are currently seeking applicants for a mid-level generalist sales position at our Tokyo office. This person will focus on growth of existing customer relationships and new customer acquisition, with a strong emphasis on Credit markets. The right individual will bring deep product knowledge and experience in Credit trading and/or sales, while also having familiarity with related asset classes such as cash and derivative rates and equities.
They will have excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible style suited to building relationships with a broad range of clients. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate both strong subject matter expertise in Credit and the ability to collaborate with internal teams across APAC, London, and the US. Importantly, you should be an effective communicator, able to leverage and share information to maximize growth and opportunity in Japan. ●Job Responsibilities:
Engage with buyside clients in Credit products and across asset classes including asset managers, life insurers, and banks to help maintain and expand Tradeweb’s client base in Japan.
Work closely with the Japan sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, while partnering with Client Services and Product Management teams globally.
Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, with the ability to present product information as effectively as needed.
Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to reinforce Tradeweb’s position as a market leader in Dealer-to-Client Fixed Income, particularly within the Credit e-trading market in Japan.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Marketing or equivalent
At least of 5 years sales experience in the finance industry (Securities Brokers, Banks, and Vendors)
Native level Japanese, business level English
Class-1 JSDA Sales Representative Qualification
Good knowledge of and exposure to Credit markets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient with full MS Office suite
Team player & strong independent worker with ability to take ownership & responsibility.
