The Data Management Technology (DMT) team is responsible for supporting the Group Data Office (GDO) by providing technology services underpinning the firm’s capabilities across the data management framework including data discovery, findability, governance, clean-up and access. Based in Tokyo, this position will be part of a globally distributed team and be responsible for the development and Level 3 support of in-house built and third party data management applications.

As part of a GDO growth strategy, DMT Japan is undergoing an ambitious expansion to create a data solutions and engineering Centre of Excellence, servicing Japan Group companies and the Global Wholesale division. Building enterprise level cloud data storage, compute capability along with data services, rapid proto-typing, ML and AI etc.

●Responsibilities：
・主に日本国内ビジネスとテクノロジーに関連するプロジェクト
・データ分析および運用のためにデータの統合、連結、クレンジングと最適化
・従来と将来のデータプラットフォームフレームワークの構築に貢献すること
・当社のツールチェーンと基準に従ってすばやくデータモデルを構築すること
・ビジネスデーターの社内利害関係者の要件を満たすため、ビジネスデーターの社内利害関係者との協力
・各社内と社外のIT部署と連携してDMTの目標を達成すること

・Primarily domestic Japan business and technology projects and use cases
・Integrate, consolidate, cleanse and optimize data for analytical and operational use Design, model and contribute hands-on to current and future state data platform framework
・Rapidly visualize and build data models that comply with Our standards and toolchain
・Partner with business data stakeholders to ensure their needs are captured and met
・Work closely with our firm’s and external IT teams to implement DMT’s strategic objectives

●必須要件：
・2年以上の複雑なRDBMS SQLを書く経験（MS SQLサーバー、オラクル等）
・Pythonによる3年以上の開発経験、または3年以上のCore Java (v .8以降)開発経験（関連技術＜JDBC、JMX、JMS、SPRING＞やマルチスレッドを含む）
・Linux/Unixシェルスクリプティングの経験
・ビジネスユーザーへのテクニカルプレゼンテーションができる
・ビジネスレベル英語以上

●Mandatory：
・2+ years of writing complex RDBMS SQL (on MS SQL Server, Oracle or similar)
・3+ years of development experience with Python OR 3+ years of Core Java (v.8 or later) development experience including related technologies (JDBC, JMX, JMS, SPRING) and multi-threading
・Experience with Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
・Ability to do technical presentation to business users
・Business Level English and Above

・変更管理とインシデント管理 (ITIL等)の実務経験
・DevOpsの理論の理解と知識と実地経験
・海外チームとの実務経験

●Preferred：
・Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Math or Engineering discipline
・Foundational ML algorithm knowledge and practical experience
・Evidence of ability to design, build and optimize data pipelines using any technology
・Experience integrating RESTful APIs
・Experience developing applications for public/private/hybrid clouds
・Development experience of any of these technologies
