●Purpose of the Role
Deliver excellent promotional investment communications that differentiate the company’s capabilities and are relevant to our local client needs.

●Key Responsibilities
The main role of this position is a local product strategist in Japan who will cover many products/strategies. Asset class assignments may change depending on client demand. Another important role of the position is to support other team members on production/update/verification of a variety of materials as well as other activities as product strategist.
To produce/update materials related to macro economy, capital markets and our funds which include monthly factsheet, sales brochure, special report, pitchbook, etc.
To make presentations based on above materials if necessary.
To be an excellent investment communicator, you need to have regular communication with domestic/overseas investment teams to deliver their insights to our clients in Japan.
You will be required to have deep investment knowledge and excellent communication skills to elicit the unique angle and insightful information from investment teams.
To deliver unparalleled quality and attractive storytelling in our sales materials (e.g. pitch decks, sales brochures or ad hoc insights), it is necessary to have an analytical mindset regarding financial markets and the mutual fund industry.
Devoted team player who can gain the support and commitment of internal service partners.
Ability to balance the priority and risk/reward trade-off in managing client’s requests vs. risk to the organization.
Outstanding ownership and commitment to tasks with a willingness to question the process in order to improve the end-product delivery.

Relevant qualification such as CMA/CFA would be preferred.
Experience as an Investment Analyst/Assistant Portfolio Manager for at least 3 years would be required.
Experience in client meetings and/or presentations at seminars on capital markets/portfolio strategy would be preferred.
Native Japanese-language skill and excellent English-language capability is required.
