●Job Summary
We’re hiring an experienced Data Architect to work closely with our clients to help and architect data lake and warehouse solutions based on the data storage and retrieval needs in each department at the client side during the pre-sales stage. The Data Architect will be responsible for addressing client’s needs regarding the storage and consumption of our data together with other data elements within the lake.
The successful candidate will also support the client by providing best practice around data analytics and visualization in order to meet changing data needs.
This position is a dynamic client-facing role in which you will collaborate and interact with prospective clients and internal teams to generate new business and also design advanced and innovative solutions.

●Responsibilities
・Support the sales specialist to coordinate with clients, data users, and key stakeholders and develop and achieve various long term objectives for data architecture
・Identify, design, and offer client’s internal and external data sources for potential integration into platform, including displacement from current data to our data
・Provide consultation and design short/long term resolutions to achieve all goals and prepare data roadmap for client’s stakeholders
・Work closely with client’s stakeholder and determine procedure to identify and collect all required data, validate process and recommend improvements to financial data provided by the financial data providers, and other local/global data providers
・Support to build a foundation for cloud-based data storage and machine learning capabilities
・Design and provide support to all data management methodologies according to required standards
・Design and administer a mapping of all data sources and movement and analyze it to ensure appropriate quality of all data
・Analyze information flow and recommend to the client appropriate technology to provide support to all business processes
・Architect, design, and build AWS, Azure and Open source framework for ingestion, transformation, improvement, cleaning, and manipulation of data in the business, operational and analytics databases, and troubleshoots any existent issues
・Prepare demo prototypes, presentations and answer RFP’s showcasing the unique selling points of the solution.
・Work with implementation/professional services team to ensure that pre-sales to post-sales knowledge and engagement transfer is done seamlessly and customer is onboarded smoothly.
・Work with various teams to ensure that the solution that is proposed to the customer is technically, commercially and legally feasible.

・Familiar with financial data.
・5+ years of experience as a Data Architect
・A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in data warehouse, data migration, or integration
・A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in financial services
・Ability to work within standardized and non-standardized processes to accomplish assigned tasks
・Experience re-structuring existing data architectures
・Deep understanding of how to troubleshoot and support large data systems
・Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and technical abilities along with problem solving skills
・Expertise in collaborating across Business and Technology functions to identify opportunities to leverage common solutions and extend the adoption of standards
・Experience architecting database management systems with traditional and big data technologies, such as Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL Server and others
・Advanced SQL and programming experience with at least one language, such as Python, Java, and C++ highly desired
・Experience with cloud architectures, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
・Willing to work with and improve systems you didn’t originally create
・Have excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Japanese and ・English are required
