＜Job Summary＞
Assist company’s downstream project business model on the development, financing and M&A fields

＜Main Responsibilities＞
●Technical Support
Support the structuring and execution of project financing and M&A related divestment for PV solar and BESS projects
Create, develop and manage financial models (PV solar and BESS) that among other functions, enables debt sizing, forecast business outcomes and profits,
and conduct sensitivity analysis on viability of projects
Assist in preparing investment document for Investment Committee with the development team
Support other functional teams regarding the structuring of PPAs
Studying energy industry-specific business trends and research data

●Stakeholder engagement
Assist the Business Development, EPC and Asset Management teams in project development, financing, construction and divestment.
Help manage and maintain banking relationship, institutional investors and strategic investors

Other duties as required

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Maths or other technical degree.
An MBA from a reputable university or Qualified CFA will be highly valuable.
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in project finance or financial advisory companies.
Work experience in major international financial institutions or major international corporations (e.g. banks, trading company/firm) is a plus.
Proficient in financial modelling through Excel (preferably for renewable energy projects) with ability to create and manage macros through VBA. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Power Point and ability to handle large datasets, ensure data quality, and implement effective data governance practices.
Excellent command of English and Japanese
