This mid-senior role leads the electrical design and coordination of data centre projects from due
diligence through commissioning and operational handover. It requires strong expertise in missioncritical electrical infrastructure, sound design management capability, and the ability to drive
technical decisions aligned with the company’s standards and regulatory requirements. The role
collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust, commercially viable,
and sustainable solutions

Project Delivery & Electrical Design Oversight
Lead and support electrical design coordination and construction delivery for new data centre
developments and major upgrade projects.
Ensure electrical systems are delivered in line with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Contribute to the development of project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments related to electrical infrastructure.
Site Due Diligence & Development
Assess land suitability for data centre development from an electrical infrastructure and utility
capacity perspective.
Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence during site acquisition, evaluating grid
availability, load capacity, redundancy strategies, and infrastructure constraints.
Electrical Systems & Technical Expertise
Design and review mission-critical electrical systems including MV/LV distribution,
generators, UPS systems, transformers, grounding, and redundancy configurations (N, N+1,
2N).
Support tenant onboarding by assessing electrical capacity and ensuring seamless integration
with tenant systems.
Address increasing electrical load demands in high-density environments through scalable
and resilient system design.

Stakeholder & Contractor Management
Act as a key technical interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure
alignment on electrical design intent and execution.
Collaborate closely with construction, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to
ensure integrated project delivery.
Lead technical discussions with general contractors to ensure milestones, documentation,
compliance, and handover requirements are achieved.
Clearly communicate electrical design requirements, risks, and technical decisions to internal
and external stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or Building Services from an
accredited institution
5+ years of technical project management experience, preferably in mission-critical or data
centre environments
Strong experience in site due diligence, design development, and technical stakeholder
management
Solid expertise in power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and redundant electrical
infrastructure (N, N+1, 2N)
Proven ability to manage contractors and ensure compliance with local standards (電気設備
技術基準, JIS, IEEE)
Licensed 電気主任技術者 (Chief Electrical Engineer) or equivalent certification
Native-level Japanese communication skills with professional English proficiency
