The prime responsibility of the Production Services team member is to support Tokyo Fixed Income trading desk and maintain systems used by the users.
The individual is expected to:
・Perform day to day support of Fixed Income systems and applications for users from front office, middle office and back office
・Perform system monitoring, handle system issues, cover system releases
・Support Fixed Income systems and users (mainly front desk, as well as middle office and back office users).
・Monitor system status, setup system monitoring processes. Monitor system processes, databases, storage, messaging queue, logs using monitoring tools.
・Incident management: detect system issues, communicate with users, investigate and solve system issues. Escalate to development team when needed. Provide root cause analysis of issues, track issues with development team.
・Work with development team team to take care of system releases. Weekend release/system check is required as part of support rota.
・Take care of user inquiries; work with BA and development team when needed.
・Perform regular DR testing, regular reports for capacity management, key risk indicator reports.
