The Business Analyst will report to the Product & Support Manager, and is business analysis and
project management role requiring direct hands-on interaction with trading systems, as well as
administrative and operational tasks.

●Primary responsibilities include:
Business Analysis: gather business and functional requirements, and create Business
Requirements documents; plan and execute user acceptance tests.
Project Management: project planning and scheduling; coordinate with multiple parties internally
and externally to make sure projects are delivered according to priority and schedule with
proper risk management and quality control.
Our trading system functional and regression testing.

●Other responsibilities:
Data analytic and report generation
Responding to customer’s and external parties’ inquiries on operational matters, via telephone
or email.
Production systems monitoring and support
Occasional support for client testing on weekends may be required.

The Business Analyst also has a customer-facing support element, requiring direct customer
interaction via telephone and in person. Customer support will re quires liaison with technical and
business personnel including network staff, operations and trading support staff, and vendors.

The qualified candidate must be comfortable with wearing multiple hats with a wide breadth of
responsibilities. In addition, the qualified candidate must be prepared for and comfortable with
providing the highest level of customer support and service in an intense, demanding environment.
The ability to work cooperatively as part of small but highly coordinated and effective team is crucial.
This is a live, real-time trading environment with millions of dollars transacting where micro seconds
count.

・Background in the financial services industry; Equity Trading Business knowledge, preferably in
the Japan market.
・ 3+ years of Trading System knowledge and experience in business analysis, project
management, testing or development role.
・ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably a degree in technical field like
engineering.
・ Self-initiating. Be able to proactively coming up with ideas or solutions.
・ High level of attention to details.
・ Required technical skills/experience: SQL, Unix Shell, FIX protocol, any scripting language.
・ Data analysis skills including SQL, Python, or Big Data platform preferred.
・ Knowledge in infrastructure system (Windows, firewalls, and networks) would be a plus
・ Proficiency in conversing and writing in English a must
・Japanese language skills desired but not required.
