Bond Middle Office team is responsible for post-booking trade processing for bond outright and repo trades, resolving queries and issues from Rates and Credit desks, and working on Bond Middle Office related projects.

【Responsibilities】
・The successful candidate will be required to understand bond and repo products, booking processes and downstream interactions with settlement systems
・Reconcile Front Office trade booking against the recap and/or blotter to ensure accuracy of trader’s PL and risk
・Work closely with all the support functions (Settlements, IT, Collateral etc) to provide full operational support to the Front Office and play a central role in managing the front to back trade flow
・Resolve any booking issues that arise and work closely with Settlement teams
・Learn and utilize digital tools such as Python to contribute to team and firm-wide transformation initiatives

【Mandatory】
・Native level Japanese and Business level English
・Team player and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
・Hard working and self-motivated person
・Flexible for changes and ability to multi-task

【Preferred】
・1-2 years’ experience in Middle Office / Operations
・Good product and market knowledge in relation to bonds
・Experience in cash product areas
・Knowledge on financial accounting
・Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues enhance controls and drive efficiency
・VBA / Python skills
