＜Description＞
The individual should have a background in electrical engineering, construction and maintenance of electrical systems (renewable power generation would be an asset). A working knowledge and understanding of computer / software programming (PLC) with skills in network configuration and management would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal
skills with experience in a customer / supplier service environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve overall systems efficiency that meet customer revenue expectations while minimizing systems downtime.
The individual will work closely with construction project management teams and sub-contractors.

＜Responsibilities＞
●Responsible for the performance of the Field Technicians. Manage and schedule the Field Technicians day to day activities.
●Liaison with maintenance sub-contractors and suppliers on maintenance activities.
●Ensure that sites are properly operated according local requirements and best practices
●Ensure that site operations are within the expected budget and performance
●Negotiate sub-contractor service agreements.
●Prepare sub-contractor specifications for request for quotes.
●Coordinate maintenance schedules on solar farms and commercial systems with
suppliers, contractors and Field Technicians
●Review and approve maintenance reports.
●Analyze performance data determining root cause and performance trends.
●Create equipment specific maintenance schedules.
●Train contractors and sub-contractors on equipment maintenance and operating procedures.
●Determining spare parts requirements and track spare part inventories.
●Strong focus on equipment uptime while achieving contractual obligations for availability and PR guarantees.
●Report internal monthly system performance metrics (KPI’s)
●Prepare and deliver to project financial institutions a monthly operations report for each site under Operation.
●Approve subcontractor invoices and ensure that those are aligned with contractual obligations
Ensure that all personnel performing site maintenance activities adhere to all health and
safety policies.
●Develop department maintenance and safety procedures.
●Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and
in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct.
●Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies.
●Conduct other duties as required.
●Required to work in an ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS environment.

＜Qualifications and Experiences＞
●Minimum 2 years work experience working in a service environment that includes electrical systems, controls systems, network communication hardware, and power generation hardware.
●Minimum 2 years management experience
●Strong work ethic, positive team attitude and able to work in a fast -paced environment
●PV Experience would be beneficial
●Quality Background would be beneficial
●Knowledge of Local Technical rules
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Japanese and English)
