●Position Summary
The Senior Analyst / Associate, Underwriting is responsible for supporting closing execution, portfolio management and other transaction support. Ideal candidate should have work experience in a global mega financial advisory company such as KPMG FAS, Deloitte Financial Advisory, PwC Advisory GK, EY Transaction Advisory Service, or possesses 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced investment bank, hedge fund, private equity firm.

●Essential Functions
1.Support of UW and Closing Execution (Acquisition and financing)
・Preparation of closing to do list and document lists
・Preparation / delivery of closing documents (structure related agreements, structure related documents, etc.)
・Preparation of sources and uses (funding request) for deal acquisition
・Support for company accounting & tax due diligence
・Preparation of closing cash delivery statements
・Confirmation of financing reserves, DSCR reserves, lender waterfall and other financing covenants

2.Portfolio management (Post closing)
・Monitoring of cash and tax positions for the all the SPVs under LSF
・Preparation of distribution waterfall
・Tax Notifications / application forms
・Maintenance of structure related agreements and documents post-closing (amendment of structure related agreements, corporate article, etc..)
・Cash management and financial management in corporate deals
・Management / review of quarterly lender waterfall statements

3.Support for deal exit (Corporate deal / sales of SPV interest)
・Preparation of closing check list (To-do-list) for SPV sales
・Correspondence to financial and tax DD
・Preparation of necessary documents for SPV sales

●High priority skills
・Native or equivalent level Japanese in speaking, writing and reading
・Business level English in writing and reading
・Knowledge / experience in Japanese statutory accounting
・Experiences in deal execution or accounting in an investment company (PE ・Fund, REIT, Real estate investment company)or financial advisory company (including accounting firms) for at least 3 years

●Preferable skills
・Experiences in financing documents
・Knowledge in Japanese typical investment structure (TMK / GK-TK)

●Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related business field preferred

●Other Skills
・Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
・Efficiency in Excel, including ability to summarize large amounts of data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, etc.
・Experience and knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ is desired.
