|仕事内容||Legal, Compliance & Operational Risk IT (LCOR IT) provides global technology solutions to help meet the regulatory demands. Due to recent market challenges, the importance of regulatory risk management and control has come into focus across the financial services industry. As a result, LCOR IT has a number of bank-wide initiatives focused on critical jurisdictions and systems with the highest potential for regulatory scrutiny; with teams supporting both compliance monitoring and detection aimed at mitigating the bank’s regulatory and financial risk. In addition, we also support the Legal and Compliance by implementing tools and systems to increase knowledge sharing, drive departmental efficiency, and improve internal client service. These initiatives help minimize the firm’s risk exposure and provide robust tools to reduce cost and facilitate productivity improvements.
LCOR IT is comprised of teams in London, Stamford, Tokyo, Zurich, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India. Our development environment includes a diverse range of technologies (e.g. ASP .NET, J2EE, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, AML and OFAC Tools, Informatica, Actimize) underpinning web, reporting/analytical and data warehouse applications.
As the Japan Project Manager, this individual will need to understand Tokyo Legal & Compliance requirements and ensure such requirements as fulfilled by local and global development teams.
Key responsibilities (Japan Project Manager):
Operate effective project governance, ensuring appropriate stakeholder representation
Proven ability to interact/influence at all levels across departments on a global basis
Manage project issues and risks and track delivery progress
Develop subject matter expertise as required for management of the projects
Requirements gathering and analysis for complex Legal & Compliance IT systems across multi locations
The production of test strategy, deployment plans for complex Legal & Compliance IT systems
Coordination of change delivery in a global, outsourced/offshored environment
Develop internal talent under management, including oversight/support for staff
Establish and manage contractual arrangements with external vendors, as required
Fluent in Japanese & English
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or other related area; Post-graduate qualifications (e.g. MBA) preferred
Have worked at least 5 years in the Financial Services industry (preferably Investment Banking)
Have 7-10 years experience managing system development projects
Any industry standard IT Program/Project Management qualification would be desirable
Compliance background (e.g. Trade Surveillance, Chinese Walls/Information Barriers, AML, Personal Compliance incl. Registrations)
Have excellent communication skills to ensure information is conveyed appropriately to its audience
Have proven interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships
