|仕事内容||The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a premier Non-Proprietary Retail and Institutional brand in the investment management market place in Japan. He/she will be expected to assist the management in Japan/ region; on strategic planning, client events and communications (public relations / media).The individual in this role will also be expected to help establish a marketing platform in Japan.
●Work closely with country / channel heads to develop Japan marketing strategy for Institutional and Non-Proprietary Retail businesses and the sub-channels therein (Retail Banks, Private Banks, Insurance Firms, Asset Managers, Sub-Advisory, Pensions, Corporations, and Public Institutions, etc).
●Interact with the various sales teams in driving the marketing strategy.
●Manage Japan Advertising & Marketing budget, from preparation, submission, and allocation through to evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities.
●Actively manage the corporate profile of the firm in Japan, including Brand Management across all channels (Non-Proprietary Retail, Institutional, pension funds, & e-marketing), Awards and Sponsorships.
●Manage and/or support a range of advertising campaigns; key local and international events; product/fund manager road shows; and sales campaigns in the region.
●Guide and develop marketing team on best practice marketing.
●Responsible for internal (staff), client and investment communications.
●Management and production of marketing literature and premiums, including content oversight, compliance, consistency and quality.
●Responsible for e-Marketing initiatives (internet and intranet).
●General co-ordination with other regions including cross leveraging marketing activities with the Marketing, Product, Brand and Platinum Program teams in the 3 regions (US, EMEA, Asia).
●Utilize market intelligence to enable the business to develop a competitive advantage and identify new business opportunities.
●Undertake strategic ad hoc projects as required.
●Carry out market research and client satisfaction surveys.
●Coordinate ongoing competitor analysis to fine-tune and review value proposition
|必要スキル||●At least eight years of experience in the investment management industry, or at least 10 years of experience in related areas of the financial services industry, with three to five years in a leadership role.
●Expertise in marketing communications (branding / advertising / sponsorship / PR) is essential.
●An in-depth knowledge of the investment management process, investment management
●products, and their relevant sales/distribution channels.
●A proven track record of professional and personal achievement
●Strong management skills.
●Be a proactive, dynamic and highly client-focused self-starter.
●Able to demonstrate credibility and inspire confidence.
●Able to work in a global, multi-cultural organization, with a matrix reporting structure.
●Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English, Japanese.
●Willing to act in a position of leadership but also as a proactive team player.
●Overseas work/living experience and/or previous experience in a foreign financial institution will be an advantage though not essential.
●Strong compliance discipline.
●Degree in a relevant discipline, ideally with an MBA or honors
