The company is seeking a Tax Manager to be the primary contact for all tax matters
within Japan with the expectation to proactively develop and manage key stakeholder relationships within the global business and finance teams. This position will be primarily responsible for Japan country tax reporting (Japanese tax returns & tax accounting), US GAAP worldwide income tax provision and support for tax planning initiatives.

＜Responsibilities＞
●Drive and lead the quarterly US GAAP reporting (ASC 740) functions for entities
within Japan by supporting global tax and local finance teams.
●Advise and consult HQ Tax with respect to positions taken on tax returns, uncertain
tax positions identified, tax controversy matters, TP(Transfer Pricing), and cash tax projections.
●Act as primary contact in managing tax advisory projects and tax audits in Japan.
●Oversee tax compliance activities of company entities in Japan.
●Liaise with local tax authorities (when appropriate) and external consultants on
reporting, filing, and audit defense.
●Provide support to HQ Tax on tax planning initiatives
●Required to work in an ISO 9001, 14001&OHSAS environment

＜Qualifications and Experiences＞
●Certified Tax accountant holder. （税理士資格）
●At least 8 years of tax experience with proven track record of accomplishments and
leadership; Big-Four experience is a plus
●Experience of SPC Tax accounting
●Work experience in real estate financing/real estate investment business
●International tax experience
●Experience with the application of the tax treaty with Hong Kong
●Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax process and system
●Experience in dealing with statutory and tax audit
●Local income tax and indirect tax expertise
●Local GAAP and US GAAP knowledge
●Ability to assimilate regulatory and compliance requirements into an on-going
operational framework

●Sound personal judgment and innovative initiatives to develop effective and
constructive solutions for challenges and obstacles
●Excellent communication, influencing & presentation skills (including fluency in
Japanese and English)
●University Degree in Accounting / Taxation　 or equivalent; CPA certification is desirable
