●Role descriptions / Expectations for the Role
1 Collaborate with team and customer to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
2 Architecture design, detailed design, implementation (MBD) and verification of embedded software for EV applications
3 System Testing
4 Debugging and optimization of embedded software
5 Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability etc.

● Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Hands on experience in embedded software design and development for EV/HEVs
Experience in Model Based Development (Matlab)
Hands-on experience with Embedded Software development tools (IDE, compilers, linkers & debuggers).
Strong EV domain understanding including Battery Management Systems & Charging Systems
Hands-on experience with design to prototype process such as requirements elicitation, architecture design, detailed design, implementation & verification
Experience in software optimization (in prototype and embedded target environment)
Excellent in embedded software debugging

● Nice-to-have skills
Understanding of Charging Protocols e.g., CHAdeMO
Experience of development on rapid prototyping platforms e.g., dSPACE MicroAutoBox, Neweagle RCM, etc.
Hands on experience in PLC programming
