●Job Purpose
CloudOps Engineer role requires maintaining reliable, fault tolerant infrastructure and application availability to meet the demands of our growing customer base. The CloudOps Engineer will be responsible for production operations and releases of SaaS applications deployed in the public cloud. This position requires 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a CloudOps Engineer supporting production SaaS/PaaS environments.

●Key Accountabilities
Infra Design, Operations and Automation.
・ Manage the applications and related cloud environments across the globe
・ Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensure proper security controls are in place
・ Provision and de-provision customers ensure 99.9% application SLA is met
・ Perform scheduled maintenance activities, ensure that releases are planned, developed, validated, and deployed to testing and production environments
・ Maintain regular backups of the environments and applications
・ Develop metrics for cloud infrastructure and software components; establish dashboards for monitoring metrics and key performance indicators

Bridge communication between project managers, developers, and CloudOps engineers
・ Communicate with project managers to collect the requirements for projects.
・ Understand the technical implications of those requirements and communicate them to other CloudOps engineers.
・ Support other CloudOps engineers in the implementation of the project requirements.

Learn, innovate, and mentor
・ Be involved on continuous learning opportunities provided and explore the latest technology solutions for AWS, Azure, Terraform & other relevant solutions.
・ Participate in the planning an implementation for prototypes and proof-of-concepts for the latest solutions in the market.
・ Document, teach and mentor to other CloudOps engineers with the lessons learned from the prototypes & proof-of-concepts.

Migration
・ Help design and promote the migration of on-premise solutions to Cloud
・ Design and promote “… as code” initiatives such as infrastructure as code, pipelines as code.

●Requirements (1): Technical skills, Job experiences
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS cloud services, Networking, and Security.
Experience in Bash & Python scripting.
CI/CD pipeline tools Jenkins/Argocd.
Experience in CloudTrail, config, Guard Duty, Security Hub, KMS, ACM, WAF, Secret Manager, ECS & EKS.
Experience in IAM Roles and Security principles.
Experience in Data Stream, Glacier, CloudWatch & Lambda.
Experience in Monitoring tools like Splunk,Graphana,prometheus.
Analyze server logs with tools like Logstash/graylag/ELK stack.
Experience in Migrating applications from On-prem to Cloud.
Experience in RDS like oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL DB’s
Experience in handling network connectivity between cloud and on premise systems.
Containerization technologies docker.
Experience in Git branching strategy.
Develop and implement automation.
Knowledge of Agile & DevOps.
Experience in optimization of cloud and on premise infrastructure from performance, costing and security standpoint.
Configuration management system - Chef/Puppet/Ansible
Orchestration tools Kubernetes.
Strong experience and working knowledge with building and deploying with IAC such as Cloud Formation and Terraform.

●Requirements (3): Certificate, Education background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience in the field (5 years).
Certification(s) or equivalent experience.
Professional experience on at least one programming or scripting language (Python & Go are preferred).
Advanced understanding of distributed systems design and management for REST, SOAP, RPC interconnected applications.
