Manage the work activities of assigned entities. Oversees the accounting and reporting requirements at entity and consolidated level.
Contributes to the client development for SPC accounting.
＜ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES＞
●Review and verifies financial information including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prior to submittal to clients.
●Review system prepared reports and supporting schedules for accuracy. Reviews and sign-off on bank account reconciliation.
●Coordinate and insures completion of annual audits by required deadlines.
●Troubleshoots escalated issues and ensure internal and external client requests are handled timely, accurately with a focus on client service.
●Review loan servicing report prepared by accountant
●Create a positive client relationship by opening and maintaining constructive and reliable lines of communication.
●Prepare a presentation material for client pitch.
●Provide high level customer service on sensitive and complex items assigned entities and projects.
●Other duties may be assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May lead project teams and/or plan staff assignments. Duties may encompass technical guidance and/or training of co-workers as well as policy development and participation in special initiatives such as modeling, system implementations or acquisition integrations. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years professional level accounting experience.
＜CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES＞
US-CPA, J-CPA or Licensed Tax Accountant is preferred
Require in-depth knowledge of US, Japan General Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS including an intermediate knowledge of financial terms.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial and/or non financial information. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations, both independently and working as a team. Requires intermediate to advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and interact effectively with management and employees. Must have the ability to convey financial issues to non-financial users. Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.
English skill is preferred.
Native Japanese is required.
