仕事内容
1) Designing the software architecture for ADAS features, including the development of algorithms, control systems, and software modules that govern functionalities like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and more.
2) Creating and optimizing algorithms that process data from various sensors (e.g., Camera, RADAR Lidar) to make real-time decisions related to vehicle control, such as object detection, path planning, and decision-making logic.
3) Writing code for embedded systems, microcontrollers, and other hardware platforms to execute the designed algorithms and functionalities.
4) Integrating software components with hardware systems, such as electronic control units (ECUs) and sensors, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.
5) Developing test cases and conducting software testing to verify the performance, safety, and reliability of ADAS features under various conditions and scenarios.
6) Ensuring that ADAS software complies with safety standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, to guarantee safe operation and minimize risks.
7) Optimizing code for efficiency, performance, and low power consumption to maximize the system’s capabilities while conserving resources.
8) Identifying and resolving software issues and anomalies, often in collaboration with hardware engineers, to ensure smooth operation.
9) Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, validation engineers, and product managers, to ensure that software aligns with the overall product goals.

●Required skills
1) Must have basic knowledge and experience in writing control specifications, software requirements, for any of the following ADAS applications.
- TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition)
- ISA (Intelligent Speed Assist)
- TMN (Traffic Movement Notification)
- BSM (Blind Spot Monitor)
2) Must have experience in developing ADAS ECU hardware abstraction layer.
3) Should have experience with each of the above applications software validation and constant conformance HIL system and vehicle.
4) Must have basic knowledge of various automotive sensors like Camera, RADAR, Lidar, and ultrasonic sensors.
5) Must have basic knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol.
6) Must have experience of working with Vector CANoe tool.
7) Must have experience of collection, analysis, diagnosis, and interpretation of CAN data from validation tests.
8) Should have experience in conducting real-world software functional validation tests, monitoring sensors and parameter tuning on HIL system & real vehicles.
9) Should have experience in creating judgement logic for multiple vehicle models for different markets.
10) Should have experience in diagnosis of ECU interface related issues.
11) Should have knowledge of production plant equipment and market service tools.
Languages:
・Japanese: Business or higher level
・English: Business or higher level
●Nice-to-have skills
1) Should be proficient in languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink.
2) Should have knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
3) Should understand image processing, signal processing, object recognition and machine learning.
4) Should be familiar with ISO26262 and other safety standards.
5) Should be able to debug and troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
6) Should have knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and best software development practices in automotive domain.
7) Should have effective communication skills.
8) Should be familiar with project management methodologies and tools.
9) Should understand automotive industry, including the latest trends and challenges.
