●Day to Day Processing
-To capture transactions (Japanese & foreign ABS, CMBS, and RMBS bonds, including related funding) onto internal booking systems.
-To settle the outstanding trades
-To handle the coupon / dividend related issues
-To control the customer’s segregation account such as reserve account
-To book arrangement fees onto the front and back office systems.

●Day to Day Reconciliation
-To reconcile and monitor the Nostro accounts for cash movements originated from the settlement of on-shore trades, coupons / dividends, redemption in part or whole, arrangement fees and etc.
-To perform monthly reconciliation of securities outstanding of our own holding and on behalf of customers (safe custody).

●Day to Day Maintenance
-To process and administer on an ongoing basis the account opening and maintenance of customer accounts.
-To obtain and keep sufficient records for customer identification, paying proper attention to the local regulatory requirements.
-To maintain Nostro accounts used for securities transactions.
-To administer validity of the annual review for outstanding securities.

●Monthly or other Operations
-To make a timely production of monthly statements and Mark-to-Market valuation reports upon request of the customers.

●Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
-To produce periodical reporting to or to respond to ad-hoc inquiries from the local authorities, such as JSDA, BOJ and FSA.
-To comply with applicable rules and regulations related to securities business and the internal rules under UCI Group.

●The following job experience in bank is also preferable
-Treasury Settlement operation
-Remittance (inward/outward, domestic overseas)

●At least 5 year working experience in the securities business back office.
●Qualification of Internal Control Administrator in JSDA is essential.
●A good commands of using English
●Good understanding of regulatory and internal control requirement in the securities business.
●Must be hands-on with attention to details whilst maintaining a clearer overview of internal policies and guidelines.
●A strong team player, proactive, assertive with drive and confidence to work on own initiative with the ability to multi-task in an environment of increasing product diversity and trade details.
●Higher degree of technical competence in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
●Keep good interpersonal skills, assertive and persuasive with the ability to work with other team members within and outside.
