As a part of Global Supply Chain function, GSC Engineering Finance Analyst is expected to work closely with local Engineering teams as well as global supply chain finance team. This role is primarily responsible for collecting & analyzing financial data and making recommendations to Finance as well as operating leaders. This position will particularly focus on the support of Technology/Engineering leaders of multiple modalities and report to GSC Finance Manager.

-Partner with leadership to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization.
-Contribute to developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, Growth Playbook (3-year Plan), SII (1-year Plan)
-Drive growth by providing analysis of results and identifying & tracking key metrics (Base Costs, P&E, etc.) while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
-Develop Engineering R&D reimbursement schedule and communicate with Transfer Pricing team
-Control FMI reserves along with company internal policy and complete necessary journal entries
-Contribute to improving efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information. Actively participate with Operations Management to improve quality of financials
-Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, Capital Investment
-Assist with management reporting (regional and segment P&L’s) and communicate results to managers
-Develop new reports for process improvements

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other relevant disciplinary.
-Minimum 5 yrs of experiences in the relevant area
-Business Level Japanese & English languages
-Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills in interacting with various stakeholders
-Experience in Healthcare or other relevant industrial business preferred
・Trained or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or SixSigma
