JOB DESCRIPTION

1. As a “Partner” work with Customer in pursuing and help them realize their Smart Factory, Industry 4.0 vision and drive Digital Transformation initiative that starts and ends with customer
2. Work with customer in analyzing customer’ organizational practices, identify weaknesses, and recommend solutions
3. As a Consulting Leader working with TCS Global Consultants bring functional view, interact with CxO, help remove deadlocks by bringing objective view of Industry best practices leveraging larger TCS experience, research and working with partners and should be an on-demand brain to customer
4. Define organization level vision, Strategy and Roadmap
5. Develop and present the vision, strategy to CxO’s
6. Develop strategic development strategies and detail plans
7. Help with implementing suggested plans and strategies
8. Oversee and examine new strategy progress and development
9. Educate, lead and supervise members of the consulting team to ensure the program objectives
10. Conduct complex analysis in order to find new market opportunities
11. Should be able to bring in competitor views, market trends, articulate to CxO level, etc.
12. Investigate existing products and services and compare them with competitors/Best Practice
13. Create and present a detailed report for upper management
14. Effectively communicate with all Internal and External Stakeholders.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Working experience as a Business Consulting for 10+ years in Manufacturing Industry (Auto, Aero, HiTech or even process industry)
2. Experience in connecting with the customer at ‘Executive’ level to shopfloor team and making the pitch
3. Experience in defining transformation Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for the Organization in business transformation using digital technologies
4. Must be adept with Monozukri Consulting and/or part of project in working with OEM or Tier 1 Supplier
5. Should be self-motivated and good leadership skill
6. Good understanding of statistical and analytical principles and processes
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
8. Critical thinker and problem solver
9. Well proficient in Japanese and Business-level English to interact with TCS Global Team and Customer.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

1. Good understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing business processes
2. Experience in enterprise architecture
3. Experience working with global team
4. Knowledge of PLM MES tools, or Industrial IoT AI solution
5. Experience and sound knowledge in system-level Toyota Production Systems, Lean transformation tools and techniques (Ex. Process standardization Kaizen methods, TQM, JIT, Kanban, 5S, Poka Yoke, 5M, etc)
