仕事内容

We currently have a team of 3 within the Japan HR team serving a client base of some 300+ employees, made up of Consulting and Support staff spread across.
This is a great role for an established HR Advisor with a keen interest in developing their skills and knowledge in a personable management consulting environment.
The ideal individual will have a collaborative and positive approach.

As a HR Advisor, you will provide pragmatic, commercial, robust and compliant HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees across Japan, reviewing policies and managing updates in conjunction with the Ops/HR Director, and assisting the HRBPs, HR Manager, Ops Director and HR Director with people initiatives where require.
Key stakeholders: HR Business Partner’s, HR Director, L&D, Recruitment/Talent, Line Managers, employees HR shared service (for transactional/administrative support).

The key aspects of the HR Advisor role will be:
Support HRBPs and line managers to advise on the full spectrum of ER issues, particularly discipline, grievance, capability / performance management and sickness, escalating complex, risky or sensitive cases to appropriate colleagues
Review and update HR policies and documentation and communicating and consulting with key stakeholders to implement any required changes

Advise on mobility moves
Conduct exit interviews, reporting insights and data to HRBPs/HRD
Assist the Team Leads/HRBPs with compliance related activity e.g. ensuring compliance training is completed
Advise employees and line managers on family leave policies and procedures, producing required paperwork
Managing absences e.g. long term sickness cases, sabbatical
Assist with flexible working queries, managing paperwork as required
Assist with any queries escalated from the HR inbox
Capturing and tracking key data and information to ensure we provide accurate MI reporting to enable us to identify root causes and trends e.g. exit interview data, sickness data, etc

Skills and Experience
Employee relations: Robust experience of managing a full spectrum of ER cases through to completion with the ability and confidence to coach line managers and leaders around staff issues and outcomes
Employment policy: Ability to interpret and apply company HR policy and procedures on a practical level and also develop, communicate and implement HR policies that align to our Company values
Employment Law: Up to date knowledge and application of employment legislation
Global Mobility: Experience in managing complex global mobility cases
Time Management: Ability to organise and prioritise workload and keep up the momentum to ensure casework is managed well within a fast-paced environment
Interpersonal skills: Great at building relationships, collaborative, ability to deal with ambiguity, ability to balance individual / business needs, and a professional approach to sensitive people issues
Native Japanese and Advanced English ability required.
