RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrange meetings with Japanese LPs (with Japan based Director and global senior IR team) to
facilitate fund commitments; including road shows for specific funds in Japan. Document
meetings in Salesforce and update Salesforce with LP information
Provide materials to update Japanese investors about our activities regularly. Also to our US,
European and other Asian investors when needed. Provide communications about new
investments, portfolio companies and exits where needed (this is primarily done by Boston)
Support local annual Investor Meetings and Japan events and seminars
Support diligence process, including responding to requests for detailed analysis, sourcing
materials from Boston or London team as needed
Access market research and help with IR presentations where needed
Provide administration support to the Japan based IR Director where needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
Alternatives Experience
5+ years relevant experience in financial services (ideally investment management) industry
supporting IR team:
Investment bank (sales, fund raising or corporate access)
fund of funds (IR)
private banking (with top investment bank)
credit and/or private equity firm (IR)
experience in consulting industry would be additive to the role Bain & Company,
McKinsey or BCG
Education and Language
Demonstrated professional and academic achievement (a four year college degree at a
minimum)
Fluency in Japanese and English, spoken and written
Team Orientation
Strong team player with the interpersonal skills to interact with outside parties and personnel
across all levels of the firm
Ability to work effectively with global and regional team (Boston, New York, London, Tokyo,
Sydney, Melbourne, Mumbai, Shanghai)

Capacity to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
