＜Job Description＞
This position provides the right candidate with exposure to all elements of the Bank’s business in terms of its products, risks and regulations.

＜Responsibilities＞
Management, analysis and review of all returns to local regulators.
Developing regulatory return reporting efficiencies.
Responsibility for performing key controls.
Management of associates.
Support the development of team members.
Incorporating new regulatory requirements into the teams’ workload.
Involvement in projects for new business initiatives.
Perform financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning.
Monitor key business metrics.
Lead the preparation of trial balances
Liase with internal and external auditors and authorities.

＜Requirements＞
●Experience in and knowledge of reporting functions for 5 years in a foreign Bank.
●Working knowledge of Japan GAAP and US GAAP for financial products as well as product understanding.
●Outstanding IT skills - Accounting system and Microsoft Office application.
●Team player capable of working independently when needed.
●Ability to work with complex systems, spreadsheets and databases.
●Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
●Ability to build relationships with colleagues.
●Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
●Native level Japanese; Business Level English
●Certified Public Accountant (CPA), tax accountant or Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1 or 2, preferable

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision and oversight of regulatory capital requirement calculations and prudential and statistical reporting to local regulations. The person will manage a team of associates and report to the department manager. We are looking for a professional who is as interested in business and products as our knowledge of finance and accounting.
